Description	The Director of the Flight Academy assists the Vice President of Pilot Training in overseeing the pilot training program at Delta Virtual Airlines flight academy (DVA). He or she will be responsible for assisting in administering pilot training to include flight academy exams and administer flight academy checkride. - Reviewing Flight Academy Exam Questions to ensure accuracy. - Reviewing and processing flight academy check rides to ensure pilots are proficient in the checkride. - Assisting member pilots with education and training. - Working with the Vice President of Pilot Training to ensure flight academy needs are met. - Delta Virtual Airlines Flight Academy is in transition of coming back to Delta Virtual Airlines. Assist the Vice President of Pilot Training to bring back the flight academy and pilot training. A successful candidate must meet the following requirements: -Be at least 18 years of age -Hold a Captain rating or Senior Captain Rating. -Passed the DVA On Line Pilot and VFR On Line pilot courses with the VATSIM P1/P2 ratings-if have the previous Private and Commercial is preferred but not required. -Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language -Real world pilot certificate(s) preferred -FAA rules and regulations knowledge -Teaching/Instructing experience is preferred but not required Note: To apply for this position, current staff members must have been in their current position for a minimum of six months To help us better select the right candidate, please ensure your application: - Includes a brief introduction of yourself and outline your history with DVA - Shares any real-world or virtual aviation experience - States how you meet the above position requirements - States why you want this position Questions?
