I just looked and seen that they are part of the Star Alliance and was wondering if they would be added in the future. They have flights that fly to the US Canada Europe and also offer a stop off point in the Azores. Check flytap.com According to their website they offer flights 64 flights to 30 countries and 1850 flights daily

We are a part of Sky Team, not Star Alliance.

Related to Skyteam partners, I post this question so not to open a new thread.
Aerolineas Argentinas has recently joined Sky Team, are we going to have some codeshare flights with them? It would be great to flight the 747 from EZE to MAD rolleyes
Here's an article on the subject: http://www.skyteam.com/news/headlines/20101130.html

Aerolineas is, in fact, the 1st south-american company to ever join SkyTeam...
Now that brazilian TAM and chilean LAN have united themselves (making themselves a great contender in the continent), it makes things interessant for the market down here! Though, AFAIK, there are no OneWorld companies in the area...

ONLY if they sign a codeshare agreement with Delta. Just because they are part of SkyTeam, doesn't mean they automatically have an agreement with Delta. DVA only provides actual RW codeshare flights with other airlines.

I agree but as stated with the codeshare flights, even if a company is part of Skyteam Delta would have to approve them to be part of their codeshare

Not sure, but i think Lan actually is a OneWorld partner. What i'm sure about is that Aerolineas is no serious contender to the recently created Lan-Tam alliance... and i'm saying this hoping that the flag airline of my country could reach the level it has once reached.
