Flash would take a lot of bandwidth, and some people have slower internet connections.
Plus, I don't know about you, but I love the site as it is right now. Simple, efficient and user-friendly.

Quite honestly, Flash is over used. There are very few types of sites that truly need to be done in Flash. Flash elements within a PHP or HTML site are ok and I utilize those often. But a full Flash site is rarely necessary.

I do like the current website. It is very easy to use and simplified. I just wanted to see peoples thoughts on Flash.

This website has too much information to use a full flash website. I used to do some flash design back in the day, and using it for a site like this would be a mess. A flash navigation bar would be fine, however - and fairly easy to use/implement.

The question to ask is, how would the site benefit from a Flash based navigation system? Aside from some additional eye-candy, I don't think it would enhance the site's performance at all. Just my 2 cents.
