According to Delta's Website, flight DAL1069 (IAD to ATL) is no longer an MD-88 (like our approved flight page says) and is now a 737-800. Am I going to get dinged for flying it in my 738 or is the MadDog in the same A/C type as mine? In any case, the web page probably needs to be updated.

if you are able to fly a route in an aircraft you are rated in - you will get credit. The routes change just as they do in real world. So a flight may be there today - but gone next week - or supplemented with a different aircraft.
So in short - even though the route is now 738 listed - if the MD88 can make the trip - you can do it in the MD88

I think the "Delta Gods" already punished me. I tried flying the route last night and I think my GPS routing on A/P did me in. As I approached a WP on the route I still hadn't reached the expected altitude for that WP and the plane pulled into a high angle of attack to try and get there. Stall, tumble, and as I was fluttering down like a leaf (albiet a 100,000 pound leaf) I radioed Washington Center to let them know I was about to drop from his radar. He offered emergency services, but I had no control (must have been a flat spin). My passengers were bummed - probably more so than I was. I think I'll leave the GPS A/P off until I reach cruising alt next time.

Ahh, but FAA rules specifically prohibit passengers when performing at airshows. My aerobatics are only performed with an empty cabin. Er... I guess that should read, "My INTENTIONAL aerobatics..."
