I just flew a Continental Dash 8-Q400 flight today from Burlington, VT to Newark, NJ. I was able to easily get a Q400 model off of avsim and textures for Continental Connection/Colgan Air. I know these flights are fairly new, but my 2 concerns are why is there no fleet installer for any Alsaka/Horizon or Continental Dash 8 and why are there are no Colgan flights available in our database. I don't know if is a codeshare issue or if our flights are just a little outdated. For example from KBTV to KEWR there is... (courtesy flightaware.com)

only ExpressJet flights on this route will show up in the database and I had to choose that one to be able to fly this Dash 8 flight. I really enjoyed flying the good old Dash 8 again and want to see them as availabe choices for our Continental flights.

That Dash 8 Q400 is a great plane. I flew on one of them r/w a few months ago and had a great experience. To answer your questions, the reason the Colgan Air flights aren't in the schedule is because they are not scheduled codeshares of Delta, we only have the Continental Flights in the database that also have a Delta flight number attached (IE: CO 2256 is also DL 7704) Having a delta flight number attached to it, means it is a "codeshare" flight. I believe the reason we don't have the Q400 as part of our Dash fleet installer is because its not operated by Delta or any of its regional partners, we only have the aircraft in our fleet library that both Delta and Air France either currently operate or at one time in history operated. You can use the Dash 8 on any ERJ route so long as the aircraft can safely make the flight (IE: No CRJ's across the "pond") I hope this helps with your questions.
