One last neat feature - I've reverse-engineered the ServInfo data feed and managed to get our server to pull it in. That means that we can display all online pilots and controllers on VATSIM or IVAO, and then highlight those individuals who are DVA members, even if they aren't flying a Delta flight. (Seems like Mr. Kolbuch has an unhealthy affinity for airlines too cheap to paint their own planes!)

The goal is not to replace ServInfo necessarily, but to provide some additional value-add in terms of identifying DVA pilots and viewing who's online. The information is there, we've managed to do the "proof of concept" by pulling the data feed down, and now we'll see what we can do with the information. There's a fair bit to the servinfo feed that you don't see on the page, like your exact latitude/longitude data.

DVA is unique because we transcend online networks. Since we have access to the data, we might have our own ServInfo-like application that displays all of our pilots on all networks - VATSIM, IVAO and offline but using a connected ACARS client. The possibilities are there - my goal is to create the infrastructure, and let the ideas flow from that.
