I find it interesting that there aren't any prefered routes in the Pilot Center from KSLC, Delta's second largest hub (last time I heard) and very few routes to Salt Lake. Any reasons for this omission?

Number 2 or not, Salt Lake is a major hub. It would be nice to have some of the preferred routes to speed up the preflight.

Actually there are quite a few (more than 100) preferred route TO Salt Lake City. Do a search and you'll see.

3 from ATL
6 from Hartford
16 from Boston
3 from Baltimore

Not sure why the FROM Salt Lake isn't there.

And I'm not going to go through the rest of them

Say away from the KSLC - KMSO route however. The jet route is worn out and only cavemen can fly it now. The runway at KMSO is reported to be pulverized with no hope of repair. The Baby Boeing Boys have had a hayday up there! evilgrin

Good one Alan cool Flew it the other day (offline) in a Neanderthal kind of way myself. Let me know when the "cavemen" get together. You can show me how to invent the wheel (online) on this one!
