I was rated as a Captain on the B767 and flew in that program, but asked to return to my previous role as a 752 captain since that's the aircraft I fly the most. My question is whether I'm still considered a "stage 4" pilot since I held the 763 position and can still fly that aircraft. I guess my question relates to "ego", because it seems the higher stage carries more prestige at Delta Virtual. Thoughts.

Have you tried the Promotions manual? It's pretty descriptive. you might give that a look-over

Both the 767 and 757 are Stage 3 programs, but to be honest I don't think your stage matters all that much. It's not like we pay you more or anything. You have a few more aircraft open to you, but as a Stage 3 captain you can get ratings in them as well.

Cheers!

I don't think it has anything to do with prestige, personally. Just fly the aircraft you enjoy the most. smile
