I have two ideas which probably can be interesting for DeltaVA community

1) Collect signatures (100? 1000?) and send official mail to HQ Boeing with request of the 787 model for FSX. It might be interesting experience for them because they have online store for fans and they never tried to do such things.

2) Make graphic badge so everybody can put it to any web site by using simple HTML code img src. IMHO it should contain something like "Captain B737 666 HRS" with picture of airplane as background.

Nikolay, before you try and do anything with the Delta name or Delta Virtual name, you need to check with Terry FIRST before you run with any idea using the names.

Nikolay,

I think that your petition to Boeing is misdirected since they do not produce FSX. Microsoft is the corporate entity that designs, produces and distributes Flight Simulator software. They select models for the default fleet. Since FSX is in the market, new aircraft would be included in future versions of Flight Sim.

The nature of this hobby is that with sufficient interest there will be freeware and/or payware versions of new models available long before Microsoft incorporates it into their default fleet.

DVA management will need to be convinced that making a public appeal is in the best interest of the airline. To date, we elect to not solicit or take public positions in order to avoid offending others or creating divisive positions.
