Only FSX makes jetways on most default airports, unlike FS9 which only has them on major airports. Also, FSX has movable jetways with default aircraft, but if you use payware scenery add-ons and AES, you can get movable jetways in FS9.

If you have FSX, a good payware program to get is Imagine Sim KATL scenery. It is so realistic...it looks real!! :-)

Only with FSX SP2, you can jetways. I can't download SP2 since my video card can't handle the requirement. Uhh..

Actually, FSX without SP2 has working jetways..you have to turn up a slider of some sort though..

FSX has moving jetways with the airport and ground scenery sliders up high. FS9 has some jetways depending on your scenery, but they are immobile.

I am going to assume that you are using Flight Simulator X.
Microsoft Flight Simulator versions below version 10 differ significantly from FSX, so you may need special help with FS 2004.

Inside the Flight Simulator "Display" settings dialogue, the "Scenery Complexity" adjustment slider controls the miscellaneous scenery objects. E.G: Fuel pumps, taxiway signs, and jetways. I personally prefer my setting inside of the 75 - 100 percentile range. This ensures maximum scenery complexity, with a good balance of Frame rate performance as well. (obviously this number should vary with your computer specs)
With this setting you should be able to clearly view the Beautiful jetways while flying in Flight Simulator X.
Also, to activate the animated jetways within FSX, just press ctrl J, you should see the jetway move slowly and smoothly (depending on your Frame rates) to the door of your aircraft. At that point in time, you can open the doors and imagine that passengers are walking onto your plane. (Admit it, you know you've done it.)
Press ctrl J again to command the jetways to slowly move away from your aircraft back into the "neutral" position.

blahblah

Just make sure your settings are high enough.
biggrin
