Thanks everyone. I knew a lot of folks would be surprised with this move. When I was presented with this position, I felt it would provide me with a unique challenge and opportunity. The A320 is an aircraft that has intrigued me from quite some time and, as I'm sure you will agree, is drastically different from the Mad Dog. I still intend to spend a lot of time in the Mad Dog which, quite honestly, I can't see ever locking away in the virtual hangar.
As far as who will be the new MD-88/90 CP, that will be up to the Senior Staff and HR. I do expect to help out whoever is selected as much as is necessary and will always be around to answer questions.

The Mad Dog program will remain a great program whether I'm there or not. It's the plane that makes the program, not the CP. 
Although the new A320 program will welcome "re-assigned" Mad Dog pilots. LOL!
