Hello, everyone. I hope I am posting this in the right channel; if not, I apologize. Also, I know we cannot discuss checkrides at the water cooler or in ACARS but this question is generic enough that I doubt it rises to the level of that restriction.

I just completed my 100th leg in 737 operations and I am now ready to apply to the 767 program (I wanted to log at least 100 legs in a lower stage aircraft to learn how things are done, get used to operating procedures, etc. before moving to the "big(ger) iron".) My question is, after I pass my F/O exam and get assigned my checkride, may I use the Level-D 767 for my checkride or am I required to use the fleet aircraft?

Thanks in advance.

Oh wow, I didn't realize one couldn't fly any aircraft they wanted. I have the Level-D 767, the PMDG 737NG as well as the PMDG 744. So, like Mike Holmes asked, will I be able to fly these aircraft when I get in those programs?

Frederic, as long as you don't take your checkrides in the payware versions - yes you can - if you are rated in them, you can log flights with them. If you check your profile, it will show you what you are rated to fly in now...looks like you can fly these as logged flight aircraft:

ATR-72, B1900, BAE-146, CRJ-200, CRJ-700, CRJ-900, Caravelle, DC-9-14, DC-9-32, DC-9-50, DHC-8, DO-328, EMB-120, ERJ-135, ERJ-145, ERJ-170, ERJ-190, F100, F70, L-100, MD-88, MD-90, S340

Mike,

Every program is different as to what you are allow to fly during the check rides. In the 767 program, you are allowed to fly the fleet 767 or the Level D for the check ride. Good luck!

Cheers!

Thank you, Riley. I was hoping I could use the Level-D. I like it so much better than the fleet version.

Gentlemen, in the 737 program, you may use DVA fleet OR third party airfraft for checkrides. Only restriction is the use of the 737-800 and no other 737 variant.
We aim to please......we want to be your airliner!
