Has anyone found this happening in FSX? This is with Lights on or off, and if I press the "i" key on or off

And if so - how do we fix it?

Also - I seem to have no cockpit in VC or 2D

Ah, that's right - they're using the smoke system for contrails. Fortunately I have an NSIS macro to fix this between FS9 and FSX (I use this for the DC-8, CV-880 and 707s). File an Issue so I don't forget. I'll probably collect a few of them and release a new installer then.

rgr on the contrails and smoke.

Cockpit though - I have no 2D cockpit. I've tried all the button combinations I can think of from A to W to S to cycle through - and I can't seem to find it!

There are documented limitations for the B744. Refer to the B747 Operating Manual now available in the document library for know issues and their mitigation.

Hey Andrew,

Silly question... did you try the F9, F10 keys... I know mine loaded in VC mode(no cockpit) and I had to switch it.

Just a thought, of course you have probably already tried these keys.

yes sir - I've merged the PMDG 744 panel with the DVA one - a couple of bugs, but it's working
