First Issue: I just downloaded the new fleet 747 and she won't turn on the ground. The wheels turn, but it doesn't go anywhere. Brakes are released and the ailerons and flaps are moving. Has anyone else had this problem?

Second Issue: I just signed up for the 747 check-ride. Can I use the FSX default model for the CR or does it have to be the fleet issued one?

The key to ground handling . especially in FSX is to slow down. Make your turns art about 6-8 knots and don't use full rudder/nose wheel steering and by easy on the throttles. Start with about 1/3. The tutorial in the AOM talks about this.

Also, no you cannot use the stock MSFS B747 for you CR, it must be either the fleet installer or the PMDG.
