I don't know why it happens but as soon as i take off, the overspeed tape over the pfd airspeed indicator turns to red showing overspeed. I use flaps 5 during take off, rotate at vref. Same thing happens when I am descending. All the flap bugs in the PFD show up. I use active sky 6.5. Has this happened to anybody else?

Are you sure your not seeing the max flap speed red brick for the given setting?

If you could take a screen cap it might help us to decipher what the problem seems to be. The flap 5 speed limit is around 250 knots, so if you're taking off with a Vr around 150knots ish then it shouldn't be a problem. Would help to see a screen cap if you can do that.

Thanks guys. It appears it only happens when I use Active Sky. I will post a screen cap when I get home. It's really weird, I love my new pmdg, but I love my old Active Sky as well. I want to be able to use both.

Added screenshots, like I said before, it only happens when i have Active Sky on. Sorry the screenshots are a bit small, I thought they would be bigger. I'll post them again, And sorry I put this question here, it should've gone in the PC support Channel of the water cooler.

Are you loading the default Cessna 172 at the airport then you switch to the PMDG737 .. or are you loading directly the PMDG737 ?

I'm loading the default cessna at the airport and using the startup procedures that are here http://www.fsstation.com/tutorials/boeing-pmdg-737ng.html

A complete uninstall and clean install seems to cure that problem.

ahh it's such a hassle to uninstall and reinstall everything, but I'll try it. Hopefully it works. Thanks. I'll do it today and make a post to tell whether it worked or not. Still wondering why it only does it with Active sky on. So yea, I'll go try it right now.

Thank you very much to all of you. My PMDG is working fine now. I had to uninstall and reinstall but at least now I wont risk a "stall" when using A/T.
Thanks again, see you in the skies.
