It has been reported that British Airways will start phasing the remainder of there 757's out of service towards the end of 2009. Anyone care to venture a guess where they end up? Another airline? A charter? Freighters?

I'm not sure where it will go to, but I do have to say Boeing should start production again. I know they may be an older bird, but with a few updates in the cockpit, they could be as good as any of their other jets.

The tooling for the 757 was destroyed .... not financially practical to get production of the 757 back up.

Besides, the 787 will be far more effective than a 75 could ever dream of being. They're amazing planes, but deplaning SUCKS. it carries a lot of passengers and being a narrow body with only one aisle makes that complicated and time consuming. the 78 all the way! Woohoo!!
