Hey y'all, new(ish) guy here.
How are we handling the DL/NW integration? Are DVA pilots free to fly Northwest flights with aircraft in which they are rated?
I looked for information but was unable to find anything.
Thanks!

YOu can fly any flight in the database with any aircraft you are rated in as long as it can safely reach the destination. Example: NWA15 PHNL-RJBB done with an A330. You can do that flight with a 767, 747 or any other aircraft that can reach the destination safely. Now as per your question regarding the merger, DVA has integrated all the flights still operating by NWA, not just the ones that were codeshares int he apst, but all of them. Again, you can fly any flights in the database, which is updated everyday at 0300 EST.

So if I understand this right does this mean I can fly from KMSP to CYWG in a delta 727?

Chad,

Correct provided that you are rated to fly the aircraft and the aircraft can legally make the journey with sufficient fuel reserves remaining.

Regards,

Terry
