Help please - have recently lost engine sound and ATC voice , esepcially on 2d cockpit view. I must admit have recently added new aircraft from AVSIM and FLightsim. Anyone else experienced same. I am using FSX. I do get engine sound in VC when looking at engine controls! go figure. i HAVE VOICE AND COCKPIT TURNED UP IN SETTINGS. Any help greatly appreciated as my realism is rapdily disappearing. Cheers Dave

David - system restore to when you last had it working correctly. Then go plane by plane and try it out to see which, if any, are the culprit. Maybe your system did an auto update and played with your drivers. Are you using FSInn or SB - Vista or XP?

Thanks heaps Andrew. I did try another aircraft last night and I now have engine sounds though no ATC voice as yet. I'll try the rest as you suggest. Thanks again, David

The last time I had this problem it was my speakers. I inadvertently switched them to stero instead of 5.1 and lost ATC. That is the first thing that I check now.
