Hey guys. I was trying to find out what class the CRJ-900 falls under? I dont see it in the CRJ-200 or the 737 classes.

Thanks guys, and I too think the CRJ is a wonderful plane. I flew the 777 all the time. But this little tiny airplane that dont even come close to the size of the 777 (well one engine) has suprised me so much! I love this plane. The FSX default CRJ has one of the best VC's ive seen. So yea. Throwing tomatos!

I love the Real CRJ, they are my fav regional, I just don't like the payware
that's out there. After flying PMDG or LevelD for a while, something like the
Wilco CRJ will drive one crazy smile

The only CRJ I dont not like to fly in is the 200. They put the dang windows so low on the fuse that your neck is breaking at the end of a 1.5 hr flight! In the ERJ's the windows are perfect, as well as the 700/900. And the ERJ windows are huge, I love them.

Funny thing the -1000 was mentioned today as this photo also made it to the front page of a.net

http://www.airliners.net/photo/Bombardier-Aerospace/Canadair-CL-600-2E25-Regional/1525641/L/

Nice looking a/c although I believe it will be a slow seller with the C-Series coming available not too far down the line. I'm saying this for US Airlines though as most have reached the max w/their scope clauses and RJs. I also don't see it operating on the mainline side in North America like the 190 does.

Actually David, the CRJ-200 has quite a long takeoff roll due to its wing design.

With seating capacity about the same as the E-190, I won't expect to see it here in the US unfortunately Alfred. Costs would be too high to run it as mainline.

Did anybody else notice it looks like they have deice boots instead of bleed air on the wings and vertical stabilizer? Or is there just not de-ice as it is still in test faze?

About the CRJ-1000, don't expect to see it at DAL. The highest they can go seat wise is 76 and they are at the limit of aircraft. Matter of fact 9E has a CR9 that they bought that they are having to keep as a spare because the DALPA(thankfully) isn't going to let Delta go up on scope anymore.
When Delta gets a new 100 seater the smallest they will go is EMB-190. wink
