Hi everyone,

What should the EPR gauges be set at for the fleet MD-88?

Right now they are at 2.40 but max power doesn't get anywhere near that. And max power pushes N2 to like 112%!
I'm not sure if the person who did the panel is still here but it might need some tweaking. The flight manual calls for no more than 1.20 on the EPR when taxing around the gate area. Well my gauge at idle power is more than 1.20 and I'm not going anywhere at idle power.

Ok seriously. Is no MD-88 pilot having the same issues and found a fix?

Unless it's payware, I wouldn't trust the EPR gauges, unfortunately. FS has issues properly calculating EPR, and payware gauges do their own calculations rather than relying on FS.
