Hi guys,

Is there any way when your doing a long flight to save in the middle of it and finish it another day? I don't always have time to fly the entire leg at once.

Isn't there an option in the FS menu to do this -- "Save flight" or something like that? Or, do you mean is there a way to do this via DVA ACARS?

I'm wondering if there is a way to do it in ACAR's.

In acars you can pause your flight, and everything will be fine as long as you come back and finish it. Also, if there is an issue you can "recover" it. It really is an amazing program.

1. Yes, you can save a flight in a given configuration under the FS menu (ALT key)
2. There's no limit to how long you can stay paused in ACARS.
3. For ACARS, I suppose you could unplug your computer and later come back with the restore option plotting

What I don't get is why fly a long leg when you aren't able to finish it? There are lots of short legs available.

I many times fly a long flight and get interrupted or cant land when I should , so I can pause it, that is one of the main reasons I love DVA and will never leave as they realize you do have a life, and kids or wife always need something right on final approach, never fails.

There is also a great freeware tool called FSReal Time - worth the 15 seconds of download time:
