Good Morning,

Just wondering, how long does it take for a "Submitted PIREP" to get OK'd? I flew KMIA-LIRF two days ago and it still hasn't got ok'd. Like I said before, I am not complaining, just wondering.

At Delta Virtual, our PIREPs are lovingly hand-approved, each one slow-simmered by our staff of CPs and ACPs, carefully reviewed until it's ready for adding into your flight log. It's a throwback to an earlier, simpler time! Handmade PIREP approval perfection takes time...but we think you'll say it's worth it!

(Yes, I'm feeling a bit odd today.)

LOL Getting back to the point, it depends on how often someone looks at the pending list

When your talking about CR's it all depends when the CP or ACP log on. After all, its been two days and im still waiting for one of mine to be marked

You will usually see a bit more of a backlog on weekends; more people fly, and the staff tends to work less. The queue had 145 pending flights earlier today, it's now down to around 100. We encourage the folks with PIREP approval access not to be afraid of a long queue, but to try and pop in and approve a dozen or so if possible.

It might be slow for another 24 hours, but we'll work through them.
