5/14/09 - Booking System Opens, 310 Slots Available.
All of VATUSA at one time, need we say more?
This eight hour event will simulate a days worth of aviation in the United States while every sector in VATUSA will be lit up at the same time for two consecutive hours. No matter where you fly, you WILL have ATC along your entire flight.
Each ARTCC will feature one airport that will be available for flights in and out (see routes page). Each flight has been designed so that you are ensured ATC from the beginning of your flight to the end. Many different pilots enjoy flying different amounts of time so we have made sure to include routes as short as 1 hour and as long at 8+ hours. It all starts at 2000z, so grab your slots now while they are available and help us Light Up America!
Seems to me 310 slots are on the light side, I was asked by a few ARTCC's if we are planning anything, I will look at the bookings, and set some routes up through the day for all to enjoy.
