If I'm rated in the 767, but also in the A330, can I fly the A330 and have it count towards my promotion to captain in the 767 program?

No. You're not in the A330 program. You're in the 767 program. Your flights have to be in the 767 to count toward promotion to captain. Just FYI, next time check the promotions manual for promtion procedures. Might save you some time.

Kevin, you are incorrect. If in the 767 program you are able to fly the a330 and have it count towards promotion. I did it myself when I was in 767 unless they changed something within the past 2ish months.

Haha David too true, an amazing photo. I always thought you had to log 10 flights in the program a/c you are in as Kevin said but I maybe wrong

Well, the program comprises other a/c. I remember when I was in the 737-800 program, I could log a flight in the A321 and have it count towards Captain. I don't know, maybe things have changed.

By the way... that shot - wow. That's stunning, I sure hope it's edited! smile

The pictures I doubt is edited, just some REX clouds.

As far as promotion goes, "You have completed 1 of the 10 Flights in the B767-200, B767-300, B767-400 using ACARS required for promotion to the rank of Captain in the B767-300 program"

You have to fly a 767 model to have it count for the Captain promotion.

The Promotions manual is out of date and we are working on an updated version - The A330 will not count for promotion in the 767 - only the 767 variations will count.
