I can't remember where I came across this but I've got this notion that we don't have to fly by the actual departure/arival times listed in the schedule is this true?

thanks

with any aircraft that you are rated in - and will make the flight you are trying (ie. you can't fly the EMB-120 from LAX to HNL on a bag of gas).

i.e, if the flight says 7PM departure, you can fly it whenever you like - 5 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, whenever you want, and the flight sim time can be whenever you like as well. As Andrew stated, just because a flight lists a specific equipment type, doesn't mean you have to fly it in that type - so say you find a B763 flight that you can make in the B757 - you can fly it (again you must be able to make it fuel wise)

1. Route must be in flight schedule.
2. You must be rated for the aircraft you chose to fly.
3. That route must be short enough to comply with the maximum range of your selected aircraft.

Also, remember that you can change the time in Flight Simulator. Usually, I set FS's time to the flight time -- you don't have to do this -- but I like the added realism. wink
