I assigned myself a flight, CO448-1 KEWR-KSFO, a few days ago...I sign on today with ACARS and was going to fly that route and I got the Error message "ACARS cannot confirm the validity of this flight..." I double checked and ACARS was online and running, and the info for the flight assignment correct. I then released the assignment, thinking that might be the issue, and it was gone. I searched and searched and couldn't find it. I know the whole deal that CO is not a true codeshare, but this was posted as a flight, and now its gone. There is a DVA flight JFK-SFO, but where did the newark flight go? Thanks for the help

If you released the assignment - yes, you lost it. If some flights are once a week, etc., you need to build and save the assignment...it'll stay there for I believe 14 days. Some are there once, others a couple times. As they adjust in real time, they adjust here the same - relatively

"I then released the assignment"

Once you release it it's gone. And if, in the time you selected/built/saved, and then released it, that flight became a no longer existing flight (codeshare or not)...until it comes back as an existing flight - it's gone.
