I am new to DVA, so please excuse the elementary question. I did want to download the entire fleet (I am using FSX), however my understanding is that not all the fleet types are available for use on FSX. Is this right? Or am I missing something?

You are correct. you need to look at eace installer to see if it is FSX compatible yet or not

We might want to reconsider something here... I"ve found most of the FS9 aircraft I've downloaded can (and will) work in FSX with a few changes (to the panel mostly). The problem with our fleet installer is that the installer looks for either the FS9 or FSX installation, and if it's a FS9 airframe, you cannot install it into FSX (you don't have the directories). As a result, we cannot install the FS9 airframe into our FSX directory.

It would be nice to just install to our desktop, and then make the requisite changes, before moving into FSX... which is what I had to do with an AVSIM L1011-100 & -500.

Gary - I use a program called FS92FSX Migration Tool by VINET. I've posted a lot about this a couple years ago when it can out. I have had a pretty good success rate with both Payware and freeware movement. Program found here:
