Fellow pilots. Recently in another thread there was a discussion about Midwest being a codeshare with Northwest: http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x145a4 According to some research current codeshares with NWA are:

Air France
Alaska Airlines
Alitalia
American Eagle (California Routes Only)
China Airlines
China Southern Airlines
Continental Airlines
CSA Czech Airlines
Delta Air Lines
Gulfstream International Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines (Inter-Island Routes Only)
Horizon Air
Japan Airlines
KLM
KLM Cityhopper
Korean Air
Malév Hungarian Airlines (Amsterdam-Budapest Only)
Midwest Airlines
Pinnacle Airlines

So Im really wondering? Is this correct that NWA shares these codeshares and if so can they be added to DVA's flight schedule? Can someone up high explain? Thanks in advance everyone smile Cheers!

That would be an interesting addition to our flights! Like inter island Hawaii for the MD-88 ... instead of the Hawaiian 717!

The one thing I have wanted for years is some sort of codeshare to allow us to fly Hawaii inter-island routes. Hawaii is, at least in my opinion, the most beautiful spot on the planet. To spend a few days every now and then island hopping between the various parts of paradise would be terrific.

I will probably open an Issue to track schedule changes. I am reluctant to go to Innovata (our schedule provider) too often with changes, since we are getting a free copy of what is essentially a commercial product thanks to their generosity.

However, since Continental will be leaving SkyTeam shortly, I will probably be in touch with them to remove the CO feed. At that time I don't have a problem requesting a few extra airlines to be added, provided they have DL code shares.

Cheers!

The American Eagle codeshares were originally with Delta but now cover both DL/NW
