I was just wondering if it would ever be possible to obtain the rank of ACP or CP if you have no internet connection on your FS computer (so I wouldn't be able to participate in online events)? If so what are some things I can do to help you obtain this rank?

I couldn't see HR accepting someone who hasn't. It is a requirement in order to be a senior captain. As far as ACP/CP, a large divison of questions and situations you deal with involve the use of flying online. So it is important that you have good experience in this area. You're obviously on the internet now, so why can't you get it on your FS computer too?

The computer that I run FS on would never have a strong enough internet connection to fly online so use another computer wich houses the internet I use.

Luke, when you say it would never have a strong enough connection, do you mean that it only has a dial up connection and not high speed?

The only way I could get internet the computer that I run FS on is by networking it wiht my laptop but the location of my FS computer has little to no connectivity for our wireless network.

Why don't you buy a wireless modem for it?
