I just installed my pmdg j41, and it doesnt seem to be working properly.. The generator doesn't seem to be putting out any power because the volts say 0.0 on every setting. The throttles and propellor levels also do not move, and the loadsheet on the left side of the cockpit is all black.
Did this ever happen to you?

Its got a 500 page manual, as well as a good tutorial. Especially if you choose to start
cold and dark you're gonna need to STUDY to get it all right.
Me, I'm lazy, I like to start it ready to go, even in that case it will take some work to
figure everything out. The FMS is different from anything else I've ever seen.
Once you do get the hang of everything though, ahhh, its great. This is what the B1900s
should have been like
Now you know what I want, I want PMDG to do the Dash 8 and the EMB 120 in this
quality, now that would be bliss.

I'm talking about something wrong with the actual plane, not me doing something wrong about starting it up. I've followed the instructions online, but my cockpit doesnt look like theirs.
When you installed your pmdg j41, did you just start up fsx and it was fully functional?

J41 is FSX Only...
Chris - why dont you check out the PMDG forums, I believe I recall someone mentioning somethign about the black loadsheet problem. Mine worked flawless immediately.

Chris, yes, I installed it, started FSX and it was fully functional. However there's a lot of previous
issues/questions. A few things about my setup that you might think about.
FSX with both SP 1 and 2, you need both.
I have a default flight that starts with engines on, not cold and dark.
I have Vista Ultimate x64, with UAC COMPLETELY DISABLED, its always a source of problems for people.
There are probably other issues I'm not thinking about.
Given my setup however, I've had zero problems.
