Team: wanted to get some advice on how to handle an issue that comes up pretty regularly. When on the taxi out (not so much on the taxi in, oddly) I've been having issues with the nose gear collapsing on both the 757 and the 764. Taxi speeds are maybe 8 knots, so that shouldn't be the issue, and I never have any of the systems set for failure. It is usually precipitated by some sort of "jump" of the nose wheel off the ground (not way off the ground mind you), when viewed in spot mode or tower mode.

Anyone else have this issue?

I have an issue of the plane "jumping" up and down when switching views but the nose gear do not collapse. It might be something with the aircraft.cfg file.

Bill, what model are you using and is it only at one airport?

Using the model off the DVA site that I downloaded for FSX. Happens at multiple airports. Doesnt always happen, but happens enough.

Contact points need to be adjusted on your nose gear in the .cfg file

Andy et al. I have this problem a lot as well. This happens only with the fleet 75 and 76... My LDS 76 does not have this problem smile Would we not want to update the fleet with this updated aircraft.cfg file? I agree with Bill though it's frustrating to land after flying X-Atlantic or X-Country and to lose your FSPax flt because of a bounce or two that causes you to go KERSPLAT!

Thanks so much for the information. Should I wait until DVA updates the download file? Or fix it using the information above? also, do i just copy it into the config file?
