Does anyone else run Windows 7 x64 and also uses the WOAI Installer?

My installer isn't working properly, presumably because of the different folders used by the x64 bit OS. As a result I have to manually install all AI which is becoming very tedious.

Jim, you cant manually install WOAI stuff. Put ALL WOAI into one folder on your desktop. create a shortcut to the installer and place it on your desktop...run it from there...don't unzip the WOAI plane packages. I don't use W7, but that's how it works with every other OS.

Thanks for the reply.

I've been having to use TTools to manually compile the AI schedules, and then manually installing the AI Aircraft and liveries, because whenever I try to use WOAI Installer it doesn't install the airline packages properly - either not at all or to a wrong directory. I do have WOAI Installer and all of its components in its own folder. I assumed it has something to do with the x64 bit OS and the C:\Program Files(x86) folder, which is different than the usual 32-bit applications.

Like Jim, I'm having problems with WoAI and Win7-64. Again, the .zip files are in one folder with the installer and the installer is pointed to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\ folder. The installer kicks off much like it did under XP, however, it will through an error that the airline already exists, would I like to repair the installation. Now, at this point, there are no listings for "WoA_" under the FS9/aircraft folder. If I chose to not repair, the program only backs up to the package selection page. Selecting yes then install starts the installation and then blows up with the error "{file_name} not found!" with OK as the only option. This will continue through all of the skins in the package and then ends normally. Back in the FS9/Aircraft folder are all of the folders for the package, including the model and texture directories and the aircraft.cfg. Meanwhile, the installer appears to end the install normally allowing you to start another package or exiting. Now, I'm gonna try to see if the AI a/c actually show up.

Any suggestions?

Cheers!!

Ken,

I haven't found a solution yet, other than manual install. The WOAI boards seem to have several folks posting on it. It looks like some folks have done workaround fixes but I am still trying to understand them. If you figure it out please let me know.

Also, whoever made all of the CRJ/ERJ AI aircraft that WOAI uses in their packages decided they didn't want anyone using their models anymore so WOAI removed all of them. I can't find any regional carrier packages with CRJs/ERJs in them especially Delta Connection, Continental Express, American Eagle, Air France, Alitalia, etc. As a result my KCVG scenery is practically a ghost town frown

Update,

I installed the WOAI installer/folder into the Program Files(x86) directory and it appears to be working now. I haven't loaded FS9 to look for the traffic yet, but the AI aircraft and .bgl traffic files are correctly placed. Should work now.

I have these zip files still I think. At least for Delta Connections.
