Air France will debut the A380 in November. How soon could DVA add the ratings for it. Would it require a separate check ride, or would it be included with another program?

As far as I know, it will be together with the B744 raiting (we will not have a program for the A380 as it is not in our fleet). Air France will start regular service between CDG and JFK November 20th with the A388. I would not expect the raiting any earlier.

Luke, DVA itself no. The odd of RW Delta ever operating an A380 are somewhere between slim and none. However, if Air France codeshares the flights that they use the A380 on, then you could fly it as long as your rated for it. (i.e. you're rated in the 747 and the A380 is added as an aditional ratting to that program)
