It depends in what you want, either the 777,767 and 747 are long-haul aircrafts, but you can always request additional ratings.

If you're a realism guy go with the 767 since ur a 757 guy, because in the RW these are dual rated aircraft. It shouldn't be much difference in the cockpit and systems either, a 767 member can correct me if I'm wrong, just going from what I've read. Hope that helps you.

No, very similar. Just have to remember that the 767 weighs almost twice as much as a 757 and is a generaly overall bigger a/c.

Justin, acutally not as much as you might think. Even though they share a common type ratting, for a pilot to switch from a 67 to a 57, they have to attend training course. I think its only a few days, just to get them familiar w/ the a/c. Different weights, engine thrust settings, fuel load, things like that.

Thanks Kevin. I was just wondering how it affects the pilots, say you fly one leg on a 57, and the next on a 67? Especially on the ground since the 67 is quite a bit larger.

I don't think they do that. You either fly one or the other. At least according to my cousin. He's a RW 767 capt. and he told me that even though he is technicaly rated on the 757, he's never flown it. He said that basically you'll fly one or the other at most large airlines. Some of the smaller airlines, though, it could be different. And its been a few years since he told me that, so that could have changed, but I doubt it.

Go with the 767 and get ratings in the others. The LDS is a great plane. If you don't go 767 my second recommendation would be the 747, because PMDG has an excellent model. My opinions are mainly based on the quality of payware that exist for each airframe.

That's actually very intersting. I've only flown the 757 in FS I think twice, so I couldn't really tell you, but I can see how the 767 settles easier. Its ZFW is higher than the 757's MTOW. Interesting perspective though.

The part that got me was how he said the 767 was "lighter on the controls and felt more sporty" and the 57 was more "sluggish" i would think it would be opposite. Like a sports car to and SUV.

Justin, you're exactly right. But if he's talking about the fleet models of each, I must agree. The 757 feels like a 744 at MTOW while the 767 acts more like a 757 should.

I can actually see that. The 767 has engines that put out 60k to 63.5k lbs of thrust each. Where as the 757 only put out between 36.6 and 43.5k lbs of thrust each. That and the 67 has larger control surfaces. Overall though, the 67 is just an outstandingly designed plane. Very fun to fly.

I use the LDS 767 for FSX. I tried the POSKY model, but the performance was WAY off. And realy didn't feel like spending the time to copy all the .cfg info from the LDS into it. Visualy model's not the greatest, but the systems and performance are spot on. Very acurate and very responsive to the controls.

I've never had any CS product, so not realy. I've heard opions though from both ends. Some people love it, others hate it. I know the visual model is amazing. But CS has always done a good job there. Other than that though, I realy couldn't tell you.
