Yep, just a matter of time. DAL is in the process of integrating the fleets and staffs of both airlines right now. Once that is done and the FAA issues the operating certificate, there will no longer be a Northwest Airlines. All NWA flights in the schedule will be DAL flights.

Wow. I really didn't like Northwest but you never realize what effect it had on you until its gone (or know it'll be gone). Sure is gonna be weird seeing no more Northwest.

Pan Am and TWA's demise (among others) had the same impact on me, especially since my dad retired from TWA.

They are slowly but surely being converted to DAL flight numbers. Just this past week all of the international NWA flights were changed to 3-number codes, from their original and long time NWA-style 2 digit codes. This will line it up with DL's code style.... it is slowly converting.

As well as the majority of NWA flights being changed from say NWA212 for example to NWA2278.

Joe, that goes along with what RD is saying. DAL is getting NWA's flight numbers to match up in their system w/ "legacy" DAL flight num.

Someone said this in ACARS earlier, but there are like ~90 planes left to be painted.

Will be weird going into MSP on a Delta flight and seeing all Delta instead of NWA at every gate RW.

I have another question. I use world-of-ai for my ai planes. I attempted to take northwest off and when I went into msp there were no planes there except for one or two airtran. Will I just have to wait for an update off of world-of-ai.com?

I do not know about that, a friend was just in DTW, and he said quite a few aircraft were in NW colors still, along with the Airlink partners.

Luke, did you try going into the NWA file and putting the DAL files into it? that might work.

No I haven't, but I fly 99% of the time with SB4 so I won't get AI aircraft on the ground regardless.... unless someone knows a way to fix this.

Yes Kevin, I know. He said "international" flights, and I added the domestics.
