I've flown th KIAH-KSAT route before, but I haven't seen it in a while. Anyone know what day it will come back? Need this to help complete my around the country tour. Thanks.

Nicholas, sometimes routes are only available certain days of the week. If you find the flight again, save it, you can fly it anytime within 2 weeks. Your other option is to request an exception to senior staff for that flight.

Wasn't that a COA flight? Delta no longer codeshares with Continental so you will not find any of their flights in the schedule.

One other q, why did delta ditch the continental flights? I enjoyed the Corpus-Christi Houston route. Now I can no longer fly to Corpus as an approved flight leg. Any hope of getting them back?

Nicholas, in the Pilot Center, if you search the Find a Flight section, and check it and save it to your log (through that section) it will show up in your log book for flight when you have the time.

Find a flight link is in the PILOT CENTER under the Delta Virtual Airlines FLIGHT SCHEDULE section:

Sorry, I think it's gone for good with COA departure from Skyteam. See this thread: http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x15116

Yep, COA flights will only come back when they decide to codeshare with Delta again. Considering they just joined Star Alliance, I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon.

Nicholas, to answer your question, Delta didn't decide to end their codeshare agreement w/ COA. Continental ended it because they decided to leave Sky Team and join Star Alliance.

Then why can't they be kept under HISTORIC flight?

Doesn't "historic" apply for aircraft no longer in service instead of routes no longer in service?

It can mean both, but it's important to remember that our goal is the best simulation of Delta Air Lines. Code share flights are something we throw in as a bonus to our pilots, but it's not seen as a core mission and the simulation of Continental is best left to the numerous Continental VAs out there.

Cheers!
