I'd like to thank the crew at DVA for helping me in my understanding of Civilian flying i've learnt HEAPS, i went from flying Direct GPS and quite litary smashing the plane into the runway to flying LAAW and landing a ILS into a foggy airport (online as well).

All these thing will help with my aspired career of a fighter pilot ( i quite frankly find Civilian fixed wing boring that's why i'm staying with the CRJ program, rotary i however find very trialling no matter military or civil), and the RNZAF and RNZN only take one new pilot a year and DVA has helped me understand the finer things that will give me the edge over my comption.
As well as flying skills i've learnt new navigation skills as well now i no longer really need a GPS hand held unit to fly approach, i now know how to use VOR and ILS to better my landings and navigation.
I know how they work which will help greatly if they fail during a flight.

So again a big thanks to the DVA staff (and pilots) even to the one's who i've hadn't had the pleasure of working with.

Now i've learn't the baiscs of online flying with ATC online, with that learning curve over i'm preping myself for my first online event and to be the only Snr captian in the CRJ program and i couldn't have done the top without the help of the staff and pilots of DVA and i wont be able to do the event and snr captain goals without the help of the staff and pilots of DVA (and the odd air france fella, vivila france!).
So again a VERY large thanks to the DVA crew.
I'm in DVA for the long hual (and thats the only long hual you'll ever see me doing)
Thanks so very much. smile smile smile
rawk rawk biggrin
