I remember reading about this somewhere but I forgot where and how to fix it, so I will ask here. I didn't get this before but now I am getting a slight static noise from the speakers but only in FSX. Its just a faint crackling noise but if I go outside of the airplane and zoon in close, it gets slightly louder, and this is with sound on or off in the game. If I minimize FSX, its goes away.

If anyone has any ideas, would be much appreciated.

It has actually gone away for the most part and I haven't really changed much. I will have to keep playing with it

Thanks

Tom if it is the same crackle I get in FS9 then this might help, I get it inside when I start the take off roll. as I advance the TQ the crackle starts. I have discovered if I toggle pause on the sim for a split second it goes away. I was told elsewhere it was a driver problem with my sound card or video card when its working with fs.

Hope this helps.

James
