Hello everyone, I have been a huge fan of microsoft flight sims for years. I have a Dell Dimention 3000, 3 gig of ram, a Pentium4 proccessor and a PCI, (not PCI express) ati hd 2400 card. I use fsx on low settings and am flying all the time. Do you all think flight sim 2004 would look better and run better on my machine?? I don't have the budget for a new pc and would like to pick the best sim for me to enjoy for now untill I get a new pc. I thank you all for any respomses!

Peter, yes FS9 would probably run better on your machine, but you're getting pretty decent frames as it is right now. The only diference would be that you would prob. get the same frames or maybe a bit higher w/ ultra high settings on FS9.

As the top two have said, i tryed FSX on my computer (it was made the same year as FSX 2005) and i had major skiping and lag, and a friend gave me FS9 and it works a whole lot better, but keep FSX just in case you do upgrade.

Peter, I sure recommend you to change to FS9. Things will get a lot more better for you, just like they got for me smile
