Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about getting a headset for skype/online flight. The only problem is, I don't think my computer has a microphone either external or internal. Is it still possible to use skype with a headset that has a microphone instead? Does that make sense? Thanks for all your help...

Get a headset that plugs into a USB hub. I'm sure your computer has one of those.

Good idea, John. Do that, Kyle, a headset is cheap indeed.

Hey Guys,
I just realized my computer has a microphone jack on the left side of the computer. But I still want to get a headset with microphone that has a USB connector attached.

may I ask what you use skype for? If you are thinking private voice chat in the cockpit, there are better options...if your thinking free long distance calls to relatives....your on the right track wink
