I'm running FS9 on Windows 7 x64 and when I log into VATSIM and try to start a flight in ACARS, VATSIM doesn't appear under the 'Network' menu. There's a blank space where it should be but it won't let me select it. I'm using ACARS v2.2, SqawkBox v4.0, and a legally registered copy of FSUIPC v3.71.

Go to your pilot profile and enter your VATSIM ID in there. It won't show up until you enter it there and it verifies it

James, you confuse me a little bit
You log into Vatsim to start a flight in ACARS????????
I had a couple of times a similar problem myself and I'm running the same system as you do, but I was starting the flight being off line and I wasn't enable to check the Vatsim slot in the ACARS.
The fix was to Connect into the Acars and then I was able to check the Vatsim option.

Vincenzo, sorry if my post was confusing. What I was doing is starting SqawkBox and logging into VATSIM and then opening ACARS and then starting my flight. But what Tom had said worked, I just needed to verify my VATSIM ID# with DVA.
