Hey all, I am a casual user of Flight Sim, and I just recently got a new computer. I decided to upgrade to FSX from FS9 at the same time. I just got this error when I try to load my fuel through ACARS. This also happens when i try to press "start flight". I made sure my FSUIPC files are all up to date. I thought it might be a firewall issue and even temporarily disabled my firewall. That did not work either. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

"DVA ACARS has encountered the following error: Maybe running on WideClient, but FS not running on Server, or wrong FSUIPC"

Windows 7 and what is WideClient? I've never heard of that before.

WideClient is for using two computers or more on a network. Is FS and ACARS both running with the same administrative privileges? Try also running the ACARS installer - and only selecting the FSUIPC options for FSX (4.5xx version). Reboot after, start Flight Sim, Start ACARS.

Make sure your parking brake is set before you start flight.

Andrew, I tried doing that, and I keep getting the same error. What does it mean when it says that "FS is not running on Server"?

It means that FS is not talking to ACARS. Make sure your ACARS log file is on in the settings, and try it again. Copy the log and make an issue from it and let Luke take a look at it.

I am having the same problem. I have tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling. Nothing seems to help. Even tried running as admin and in compatibility mode. Any help would be awesone. thanks
