I know in some VA's you cannot but I was wondering since the flight completed are not based on hours if we would be allowed to set the simulation rate to a higher one say 4x, 8x, etc

Are we taking in VATSIM? How does that look to ATC radar - Mach 3.2? Or is it ok for enroute only?

If you're flying ACARS there's a hard code in the program anyway. If you set it higher that x4 it will bing it back down atomatically.

Personally, because of everything you have to do in flight, I keep it at 1x. But that's just me. cool

Read the manuals.

They have detailed instructions on what you can do and what not.

Highest you can go is 4x. -- However I'd not do it while on vatsim if in controlled airspace, the atc don't like it much
