Prior thanks for any help I get on this one.

I run FSX on a fairly decent PC - I have FSX graphics cranked with a decent frame rate and it looks great, feels great and so on. I want to get into the DVA 767 program, but I've run into a snag. I did a test run (like I do with any new aircraft I fly) from YEG to YYZ and everything works fine and looks great. However, when I save the flight and then want to come back to it, the saved flight will NOT load, my mouse pointer turns to an hourglass, and FSX crashes hard and closes out with a Fatal Error. Basically, the flight will not load as is essentially lost. This happens everytime, but only with the DVA 757s and the 767s. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, please help!

I believe that the fleet B757 has some startup/initializing issues and must start with all the overhead panels extended (visible) or it has an error. I have never been successful in saving a fleet B757 configuration and coming back to it later.

I have this same problem with FSX and saving a fleet B767. If there is a solution, I'd love to know what to do.

Instead of saving via FS, try the .save command in ACARS. ACARS can detect these panels and save the flight appropriately.

Cheers!

Thanks for the tip, Luke. I attempted your trick, but unfortunately I am not yet rated on the 767 and ACARS does not allow me to submit a flight plan with it (nor without a flight number). I mainly wished to get some good practice time in with the 767 to prepare myself for the First Officer exam. Unless someone knows of a trick to save these 767 flights in FSX, I will have to do those flights without saving... in which case, it works no problem.
