Hello everybody.

I'm having a problem with FSX or my LCD monitor at the moment.

Whenever I make a quick manuver where the textures are changing quickly, some hoizontal sections take longer to load and appear to quiver or wobble up and down. This happens while moving quickly in any direction from any viewpoint (2d panel, outside, VC) and in ALL aircraft.

I'm not sure if there's a problem with my monitor refresh speed or the simulator or my computer.

I haven't noticed this problem before.

EDIT: I did a few experiments, and changing scenery and other FS settings to both higher and lower levels made no difference.

That made no effect.

The bar is made up of textures that keep movng possition, and the bar spans across the entire screen. It moves up and down , usually staying in the top half of the screen.

I think this is something to do with what NVIDIA calls "vertical tearing". I tried forcing "vertical sync" ON and I'll see if that works.

Well, vertical sync through the NVIDIA control panel did nothing.

I have confirmed with a google search that it is infact vertical tearing.

Somebody said tha d3doverrider would help. Does anybody know anything about this software?

EDIT: Well, I've confirmed that there is no problem with my monitor, FSX, or my graphics card. In full screen mode I have vertical sync, however when done through the NVIDIA control panel it does not work in windowed mode. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get it to work in windowed mode.
