I was doing a routine flight from KATL - KCLT when all of a sudden at 12,000 ft. I get a warning buzzer and the CABIN ALT warning light comes on and the cabin pressure is way way way too high. I have no idea how this could have happened and couldn't figure out how to solve the problem. I have flown this route just about 20 times with no problems like this. Can any of the other Maddog pilots explain what I could have did to cause this and how to solve it (god forbid) if it happens again in the future.

Thanks.

You are setting your Supply switches both to 'Auto' after engine start correct?

Be sure not to rule out system failure as the culprit.

The Supply Switch is set to Auto, and I have system failures turned off.

Also another question is it normal for turbulance to toss around an aircraft very violently and on every trip? I'm talking about cruising along calmly at 313kts. then all of a sudden the nose pitches up 30 degrees the plane banks sharply 45-60 degrees and the speed slows to less than 100kts. causeing the plane to go into a stall, I will stabalize the plane and try to recover the speed just to have the plane suddenly drop with the nose level and the speed go past 360kts. (wich is harsh overspeed). This happens several times during my flights and it seems unrealistic the way the plane behaves. Also the weather is set to real weather for realism.

Corey, I experience what you are a talking about sometimes. Make sure anytime you even suspect icing conditions to be present, set the anti-ice systems. I think this actually may be a glitch, there are several discussions about it on flythemaddog.com

Airspeed suddenly drops to 0. AP disengages. The stall warning goes off.

I find engaging the engine anti-ice to fix this.

I had the same problem as the OP flying from ATL to JFK last night. I remember checking my cabin alt through 10,000 and it was around 3600' which seems reasonable. Reached cruise FL310 and about 20 minutes later received the CABIN PRESSURE warning. Checked the overhead panel and the flow light was illuminated with the cabin alt rapidly increasing. Now I'm pretty sure I didn't open any doors, at least I couldn't see any open and didn't get any kind of "Exit Opening" UI message so I have no idea what happened. Air Conditioning Packs were operating in AUTO mode the whole time. Running the MADDOG2008 PRO with FS2Crew and ASE.

EDIT: Anyone know if the DFDR records Cabin Alt? I just remembered that I had the flight recorder running. Will have to check out the data when I get home.

Packs must be in AUTO, ALL doors closed, most inportant of all, you must be in AUTO1 or AUTO2 and not manual on the pressurization panel.

Excuse my ignorance, but could you clarify this for me? Does this relate to the STBY and TRANSFER LOCKOUT annunciations?

Edit: Are you refering to AIR COND CKPT TEMP and CABIN TEMP switches? They were both set to AUTO but I don't believe these would have an impact. As far as I know, the CABIN PRESS Manual/Auto Control Lever was also in the AUTO (UP) position but I'll have to check that (maybe my F/O tried to sabotage me!)
