I have an old Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D. It has been pretty good for me through the years with one exception. The throttle sits at about 15% when I have it at 0% on my joystick. I've tried calibrating, and re-calibrating and sometimes its a little more manageable and others its not. It doesnt really cause too many problems until I land. When I'm rolling on the runway, I can not use reverse thrust because my throttle isnt at idle, so the cowling will just go back and forth and never stay consistent.

I recently bought a saitek AV8R joystick, which has a beautiful throttle (in that it has a full range and will idle perfectly). I would use it, except that the joystick is ultra sensitive, and doesnt track accurately to the left. Other times, the plane will bank hard right when the joystick is centered, and when I go full left, It does nothing. I've tried new drivers, and re-calibration, however in calibrating it I see that there is a small area when it is full left that causes the cursor to go to the opposite side.

If either of these problems can be resolved, it would be great. If not, I will return the AV8R and buy something from Logitech when I get the refund. Saitek has never had many points in my book due to design flaws in the devices I have used. At first I thought the AV8R would be the device to bring their name back up out of the mud, but instead it has been a disappointment since I have discovered the issue with its tracking.
