Hi everyone and thank you for the great help !! One thing i wanted to ask is my computer is running on 1680x1050 for the res. Would it better to run fsx in a lower res. and if so do i change the res on my system properties or could i just change it for fsx only??

It is better to play at the native screen resolution -- If you lower it, it will still use the entire screen's size, it just won't look nearly as good.

Quality will be lost but FPS will be higher when set lower resolution

If you are looking for fps and not quality, turning sliders down usually works too

Screen res only changes if you play in full screen mode btw
