	I wanted to get your guys' take on this. My mouse wheel is starting to lose it. Sometimes it can take me 5 minutes just to scroll down a page using the wheel because it only works about every 6-7 clicks. It's like there's an electrical contact not working or something. It's not just in the Internet browser either. In Explorer Windows as well. Any suggestions other than just buying a new one? It's a Logitech MX518 --- PnP

	I am not familiar with that particular model, but you can take the bottom off, and see if perhaps it uses a band from the mouse wheel to a gear for the scroll function. If so, the belt might have come loose, I have seen that happen in the past. If you are going to replace it if you can't fix it, there is no harm in taking it apart.
