Hey guys,

I am currently running my desktop with Windows Vista 64 bit and a laptop with Windows XP. What I want to do is use ACARS and other external programs on my laptop while running FSX. I have WIDEFS and FSUIPC installed on desktop and WIDEFS running on the laptop as well. The problem I'm having is that my desktop can't detect my laptop on the network. I've heard of this happening before and have installed the updates necessary (from what I've been told anyways) but it's still not recognizing my laptop. I'm running a DLink router and both laptop and desktop are wired directly into the router.

Anybody have any suggestions or links to help me with this?

Logan, are all computers running on the same workgroup within your home network? You may have to go in and change the name to make them all the same.
